Online social networks (OSNs) are powerful tools for keeping people in touch and facilitating the establishment of new relationships. We have seen exponential growth of OSNs in recent years with billions of users. As a result, huge amount of sensitive and private information are stored in them. Obviously, one of the foremost issues in OSNs is protecting the personal data and users’ privacy.

In this article review assignment, you will find a new peer-reviewed research article (aside from the module’s “Reading & Study” materials) on the privacy issue of online social networks, and write a review after reading it. The article you selected should be published within the last few years. The primary goal of the review is to thoroughly understand the proposed method in the article, instead of judging it good or bad, right or wrong. Your review should include, but is not limited to, the following sections:

• Introduction to privacy issues of OSNs
• The selected article’s proposed method/approach for mitigating privacy threats
• Discussion on how the method/approach supposedly works to address the privacy issues
