Instructions for second written assignment
1. Briefly describe the neighborhood in which you grew up, or are currently familiar with, or an area nearby which you have frequented.
2. Then imagine taking any two (2) of Frank Lloyd Wright, Jane Jacobs, or Christopher Alexander on a tour of the area and recording their discussion about
its built environment. See topics #8, #9, and #10 for their differing perspectives.
3. Assuming their discussion would reflect their general philosophies of communication and the built environment and that this discussion would be rather
elevated, construct a conceivable dialogue (1,500 words or so) that might ensue.
4. As their tour guide, you may participate in the discussion by way of explaining where you are taking them and providing some helpful cultural and historical
context.
5. Include appropriate images so the reader can see some of what they would be seeing. Be careful not to overdo the “banter.”
