Write a critical literacy autobiography where you consider the language and literacy practices that have influenced your language and literacy development and identities. You can describe:
(1) Personal experiences with varied language(s) and literacies
(2) The ways in which our languages and literacies have been developed
(3) How these languages and literacies have influenced who we are.
(4) How these languages and literacies have/have not afforded us privileges.
(5) How our languages and literacies have been important to our autobiographical stories.
These questions can be used as a guide, but write about what you want! You can answer as many or as few as you would like. I encourage creativity and expression in these papers. Craft your own story and have fun!

This autobiography can be completed in one of two ways:

1) In written form consisting of 4-5 pages (double spaced page, 12pt, Times New Roman/Cambria/Calibri)
OR

2) In video form. You may record your autobiography in a video that should last approximately 8-15 minutes. If you have any trouble uploading your video, you may try uploading to youtube and posting the link. If these options don’t work for you, please email me.
