a. Introduction. The paper should begin with a well-written introduction that: i. Raises a clear research question that the body of your paper answers based on a survey of scholarly research. ii. Ends with a thesis statement that answers this question and summarizes the body of the paper b. Body i. Individual paragraphs in which you address your research question by citing scholarly research ii. These paragraphs should each be focused around a single coherent topic iii. These paragraphs should be linked together with strong transition sentences. c. Conclusion: The paper should end with a conclusion that: i. identifies at least two variables that are relevant to your research question ii. Offers at least one question for further research. d. A works cited of at least 3 sources.
