Describe a situation in which a gender script is violated. (A simple example: a typical gender script dictates that a man pick a woman up for a date, drive, and select the restaurant or other activities. The woman picking up the man and driving (etc.) would be a violation of this script. Don’t limit yourself to examples from dating – I’m just using this because it’s fairly familiar to everyone.)

Explain why your example is a violation. What particular scripts are undermined?
What does this situation in which a gender script is violated demonstrate about traditional gender roles?
Would you violate this particular gender script? Why or why not?
