The Three-Generation Genogram and brief paper is developed and presented based upon an interview with a community member. You will meet a community member, discuss their personal health history and family health history, and develop a complete genogram. Using the guide in the health assessment text, (Jarvis, 2012), the student will complete a 3—generation genogram. The student will also select one health problem identified on the genogram that has familial or genetic predispositions and write a short 2 page referenced paper summarizing the pathophysiology of that disorder.
