Students are required to submit an ethnographic project based on secondary source data collection. The
aim of the project is to evaluate and analyze, through a comparative framework, ethnographic evidence in
pursuit of theoretical arguments regarding a chosen topic.
This writing project requires students to show a developed awareness of the steps of ethnographic
research writing. The project requires:
• A basic literature review
• Data collection based on secondary resources
• Research analysis, from one or more of the established anthropological methodologies discussed in class
• Conclusions
