Description
The research tools must be based on the literature reviewed for the project. Survey questions should use
validated instruments i.e. questions used by previous researchers to measure the constructs investigated in
your study. Research tools to collect qualitative data can be developed by yourself, but must be based on
literature. This assignment must use the following template.
You are allowed to copy and paste all responses from your final assessment (research proposal presentation)
in MNG93217 Industry Research Project Part A. Note, this assignment will primarily be assessed on the
validity of your research tool. The Research Tool section is what will be assessed.
The Research Tool must be based on Literature review for the project. Reason is whatever data we are going
to collect there should be evidence behind it which supports why you are collecting that specific data.
This basically means that the questions are related to the Factors that have been discussed in Literature
review.
Survey Questions need to be validated questions instruments which means if you are collecting Quantitative
Data use Validated instruments questions used by previous researchers who also investigated the Same
Factors. That why if you are looking at Factors that were also looked at by previouse researhers you are
expected to use the same questions instead of Developing them. You can can use Multiple sources to get
those questions specific to questions you are looking at. If you are using Qualitative Data you do not need to
use validated questions you can develop you own. Questions still need to be related to the Factors in the
Lietrature review or Concepts that were in the literature. Basically collect data on what the literature
suggested.

Provide Independant Factors and Dependant Factors
How the Independent Factors are related to the research Problem.
Add the Conceptual map
Also references are required – Use Harvard Intext Citation with page number and HTML or DOI . Harvard
referencing attached.

Which research tool are we using – Im using Mixed Method
Survey Descriptive Survey Interview etc. Do not refer to Survey or Interviews as questionaire.
Quantitative – Include all Questions
Qualitative – Include all survey questions. Include response options and validated instruments need to
mention the source of teh question.
Include Demographic questions and make sure they are ethical
secondary study need to provide links if used.
