

This is an ongoing assignment regarding a potential health promotion program at my local university (Kentucky Wesleyan College) to improve the professor’s
daily activity. Components will include gym memberships to all employees, activity trackers and incentives given when certain activity levels are reached,
partnership with current insurance provider (Anthem Health), and/or fitness classes offered on-campus during lunch hours by current Exercise Science
students. The textbook used for this class is McKenzie J., F., Neiger, B.L., and Thackeray, R. (2017). Planning, Implementing and Evaluating Health Promotion
Programs: A Primer 7 edition. Pearson Ed. You must use this textbook as one of the sources. For this particular assignment, create a marketing plan for your
proposed project.
Marketing Plan must be addressed:
Describe your product/service/intervention.
How will the product/service make it easy and convenient for the priority population to do the behavior and receive the associated benefits? What is the
motivation to participate?
How will the product/service help to reduce barriers to and or the cost of the behavior you want to priority population to engage in?
What is the care product (or bundle of benefits) that they will receive if they purchase and use the product?
What will the priority population have to “give-up” or “pay” to receive the augmented product and the bundle of benefits? Consider both financial and non-
financial.
Recruitment plan……What promotion tools will you use to promote your program? How, When, and Where will you let the priority population know about the
item or services.
