Critical Reflection Essay Prompt #2 (300-400 words)
Choose ONE of the following prompts for your critical reflection essay about hospitals and the U.S health care system. Do not use up your words by restating the prompt as part of your response, but instead answer the prompt as directed.
1. Identify and explain three important, current challenges to the structure, delivery, and/or financing of ambulatory care services in the U.S. Support your response to this prompt with reference(s) to the “Ambulatory Care” reading by Sultz and Young and two (or more) other assigned readings (for week 9) on ambulatory care.
If you wish, you may substitute one of the optional readings for week 9 for one of the other readings that you use to answer this prompt.
2. Choose three of the following articles:
· Robinson – Hospitals Respond To Medicare Payment Shortfalls By Both Shifting Costs And Cutting Them, Based On Market Concentration

Identify one essential/key/critically important point made by the author(s) from each of the three articles that you select. Select a different point from each of the articles. Explain in each case why this point is so important in understanding the hospital industry as it currently exists in the U.S. Note – do not use up your words by repeating the italicized words in the preceding sentence, but instead just respond to the prompt as directed, within the essay word limit.
