Criteria for this Project:
1. Each clinical group will be assigned by your clinical instructor. (REFER to previous slide)
2. Read & review QSEN Competencies: http://qsen.org/competencies/pre-licensure-ksas/
3. Create a power point to present to your peers to tell the story of your patient throughout their
care.
4. Apply all six of the QSEN Competencies to all in patient care and follow-up.
5. Three community resources must be discussed.
6. Each presentation should be 20 minutes in duration.(Include 2 mins for Q & A)
7. A date will be assigned to each clinical group to present their case study during the semester to
their peers. (Present on final evaluation day—Saturday, 4/30/22
8. Include at least 4 interrelated concepts to your story.

1. Search the research to find Evidence- Based Practice for Healthy Practices, Pharmacological, and Alternative interventions for your assigned patient

Case Scenario #2 (OB) 2. Linda is a 38 year old Haitian, pregnant female at 30 weeks gestation. She is admitted with preterm labor and pre-eclampsia. This is her 7th pregnancy, all delivered at home. Five women accompany her that consist of mothers, grandmothers, aunts and a sibling. They are all praying and talking in Creole. The patient is Catholic and her family practices Catholic-Vodou Syncretism. After much discussion, an ultrasound was completed with some issues regarding baby’s growth pattern were identified.
