The project
The final project is an opportunity to reflect on what you have learned in the course. It is also an opportunity for the instructor to interact with students on a more timely basis.
What is the final project?
The final project is a critical reflection essay on your experience learning about humor and literature. Create a word cloud of 10 terms learned in this course and reflect on your word choices. The terms can be concepts, genres, characters, literary devices, etc. Your critical reflection essay should address the reason(s) why you chose those terms for your word cloud. Your critical reflection essay should be 1000-1250 words and follow the MLA guidelines. In addition to the critical reflection essay, I’d like you to engage with the following questions:
1. How are you?
2. Which text was your favorite reading? Why?
3. Which course activity was your favorite? Why?
4. What are you looking forward to next semester?
What are the guidelines for the reflection essay?
• It should be between 1000-1250 words
• It should be saved a word document with 12 font, Arial, double-spaced
• It should have a title (“Reflection Essay” is NOT a title)
• It should follow MLA guidelines ( whether you paraphrase or cite a text, make sure to include the in-text citations in the MLA format)
• It should include a Works Cited page (in alphabetical order of the authors’ last names)
• It should meet the final project expectations and grading criteria
