Students will be required to synthesise the theories which have been discussed in class with relevant scholarly literature in order to present a strong argument which answers their proposed research question in a persuasive way. Whethe​‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍​r students have incorporated the feedback received on the essay proposal into their research essays forms part of assessment. As part of the research essay, students must demonstrate their ability to engage critically with the scholarly literature relevant to their chosen research topic.
