The summary of your final paper should be written in appropriate APA format without including a title page or
reference page. The topic summary should be 5 paragraphs and should include the following:
• Topic selected and a brief overview of the issue, how it impacts a health care organization, institution,
provider or at-risk community or population.
● Two literature pieces selected for your literature review on at least 2 major legal cases related to your topic.
● Ethical and legal problems you plan to discuss.
● What research resources will you be using to support your final paper? List at least 2 sources outside of the
literature review pieces.
To develop your outline, review the APA resource link posted in the course materials. The outline should be 1
page and should include all 5 areas included in your final paper instructions. Summary and outline must be
clear, concise and free of spelling and grammatical errors.
1st complete the outline for the topic Patient Abuse then use the outline to draft the summary. The final paper
will be 6 pages long excluding title page and reference page. Please use enough information on the outline to
cover 6 pages. Please make sure that the summary follows the outline in the same order
