SELECT one medical case or toxicology case posting of another student. It must be a different case from your original postings in the pathophysiology forums. Part 1: Post a reply to the case you selected discussing the following areas: • Details of the appropriate care that should be provided by a paramedic • Explain the desired effects of each intervention used • Potential risks or complications from the interventions • Rationalise all interventions with reliable sources of evidence • References Part 2: Reply to two other Clinical Case Management Forum posting by other students. In your reply comment on the: • appropriateness and thoroughness of the management plan • the level of evidence used to support the case

Your first post should be 750 to 1000 words (not including references). You will need to be succinct to cover the required information. Your post should include evidence from literature that supports your work. It is expected that you source a significant proportion of your information from journal articles (either primary research or review articles). While clinical practice guidelines may be referred to, they do not provide the level of evidence required for this assignment. Generally they provide citations which may be sourced for the appropriate evidence. Subsequent posts have no word limit. They should include references where new information is provided.
