Case Presentation Tips
Some students were confused and asking for directions on the Case Presentation.
1. At first, you should decide on the mission to achieve from your presentation.
2. Then, you should decide who you are.
3. And who your audience to be.
For Example, Case 5.2 ESPN.com: The Future of Sports Coverage in the Cloud using IBM WebSphere
You can be a rep from ESPN to give a marketing speech about how well and advanced ESPN is positioned in the Sports Coverage in the Cloud using IBM WebSphere. Or you can be a rep from IBM trying to promote IBM WebSphere by demonstrating ESPN’s successful use of their technology. Your audience can be potential buyers for IBM WebSphere or ESPN products/services.
The given videos are a good starting point. A few provided links could be outdated or broken. Please search the title of the video on YouTube and you will find many related and/or up-to-date videos. It’s your show and you have full control of your 5 minutes presentation. You can use or bring in any additional videos/materials. The audience (the class) will decide how persuasive your presentation is at the end of your presentation. There will be a 5 minutes Q&A after each presentation.
