Capstone Paper Instructions

 

CAPSTONE PROJECT

The course provides a capstone experience by examining and finding alternative solutions for a business/management issue with the use of concepts and knowledge gained in the prior courses taken in this degree program and this course.

Objective 1 – Identify a publicly-traded company to investigate an existing business/management issue.

Things to know and what your professor expects

The Capstone paper will be submitted in three phases: 1. proposal, 2. rough draft, and 3. final paper.

1. All topics described in the Capstone Research Report Template must be present in the final paper.

2. The paper must be written in appropriate APA format and style.

3. The Capstone final paper must be a minimum of 10 pages of narrative. Note: This does not including the title page, abstract, table of contents, acknowledgments, dedication, and references page(s).

4. A template for the final paper is available and must be used. See above.

5. Students who submit a final paper that does not meet the full minimum 10-page requirement of narrative will automatically receive a zero for the assignment.

 

6. Direct quotes are not permitted unless absolutely necessary. In such a case that a quote is required, limit the paper to only one quote. Summarize and paraphrase throughout this paper (refer to the plagiarism tutorial about summary and paraphrase).
