Literature Review

The literature review is where you discuss the articles you read that were related to your topic. The literature review does not have to have its own introduction or conclusion as it will be included into the body of your paper. It is essentially an extended version of the literacy assignment you submitted several weeks ago.
1. For each source you must read the article, summarize it (what did they do, methods, sampling etc what did they find), be able to understand how it is related to your research project, and identify the main conclusion, limitations, and any policy implications. You will be doing this for 5 sources and you can include the one you used for the literacy assignment.

2. The literature review should be several paragraphs long- about 1-2 paragraphs per source. For examples of literature reviews please see the journal articles you are referencing. I am also including a sample literature review. Check out the structure and transition of these reviews, this is what you’re trying to achieve.

3. Be sure to include in-text citations and full citations at the end of the review.
