Multicultural Final Project and Presentation on Israeli Americans
In the beginning of the course, students are to choose a cultural group for their final project. There are two
parts to this project: a research paper of 8-10 pages (for the body of the paper, not including title page,
abstract, and reference pages) and a presentation of 8-10 PowerPoint slides.
The research paper is to cover at least 10 of the major topics covered in the textbook, Culture and
Psychology. (See the list below.) Information about this cultural group should be drawn from reputable
journal articles and books. A minimum of 10 sources are to be used in addition to the textbook. The paper
should include 1” margins, double spaced, and in APA format. All information gained through sources is to
be referenced appropriately, giving credit to the original source. Papers will be examined closely to assess
the accuracy of citations. Since this is the final project, grades will be lowered 10 points each day the
project is late. None will be accepted after the third late day.

The PowerPoint Presentation of 8-10 slides should summarize the information gained through the research
paper. The slides need to include either audio or written narration. The narration tools are found on the
PowerPoint software. Presentations should be no longer than 15 minutes. Slides should be posted in the
group section of Bb as an attachment and will be the focus of your last group discussion.
