For the final project, create a timeline that charts key developments in Black women’s experience or role in
the topic you selected for your annotated bibliography. Your final project should be titled A Black Women’s
History of … with the ellipsis replaced by the topic on which your project is focused.
Your timeline must have at least 20 items, listed by date. Use the specific date (month and day), if known.
All items must be listed by year. You may include more than one item in a specific year.
Each date must be labeled with the title of the event (for example, “Nannie Burroughs Opens School for
African American Girls.”)
Each title must be accompanied with a description of the details and significance of the event. Descriptions
should be at least three sentences long.
Your timeline should be engaging and interactive. Include photos, video and music (linked or embedded) or
other media.
