For the Case assignment, you will select ONE of the public health issues and develop a 5 to 8 page paper, in which you address the following:
1. Discuss current laws that are applicable to the health issue you have selected. These laws can be federal or at the state or local level (hint: You may need
to research the website of your state or city health departments for more information).
2. Discuss competing ethical issues inherent in the public health issue you have selected.
3. Discuss the “business” and “clinical” ethics inherent in the issue you selected.
4. Select one of the ethical decision making tools you learned about in module 3 and use this as a framework to discuss how you would resolve the identified
ethical issues inherent in this health issue.
5. Identify applicable public health codes of ethics that can inform the health issue you selected.
