Grant Project
Will be required to search for and submit a potential funding source that relates to the organization he/she selected for this project. The following criteria must be met for this submission:

– You must provide enough information so that the organization could access the same site at a later date. This is a complete URL that you reference in your paper or perhaps a scanned copy of the log-in page for the agency’s website.
– The grant timeline must be current. If the submission date is in the past, it will not be accepted.
– The grant must be a probable funder for this project.
– Sample grants are posted on our class Blackboard. These grants can be used for this assignment if they are a reasonable fit.
Grant Report
Your report MUST BE typed in paragraph format and should include the following sections:
1. Introduction
– One paragraph that explains the project that you are hoping to fund.
2. Purpose/Scope of the Grant
– This should be a paragraph that introduces the granting agency and the basic objective for this source of funding. Why did you choose this source?
3. Information about the Funder
– Name of the granting agency
– Contact Person
– Address / Phone / email / web address
4. Grant Details
– Submission date
– Potential funding amount
– Goals and objectives of the grant and/or granting agency
– Is this a matching grant? If so, how will you propose that the organization supply the match?
– Is this a one-time funding source or might it be available for several funding cycles?
– How will the grant application need to be submitted? By mail? Online? In-person?
– Are partners required or recommended? If so – do you have suggestions for the organization?
– What kind of reporting will be required?
– Any other details that are pertinent
5. Summary Paragraph
– Prepare a 2-3 paragraph summary of this proposed project. Why did you select it? Why do you believe that this might be a good option for the organization?
6. Attachments
– Copies of the agency web page
– Copies of the grant application if possible
