PURPOSE:
The purpose of this assignment is to study the Development and Acquisition of
Information System.
It is a group assignment.
DESCRIPTION:
o Search for information about the latest development tools (at least three) used to
develop a mobile application.
o Explain each development tool briefly.
o Compare each tool by listing their advantages and disadvantages.
o Explain in detail which of the selected tools you find best and why??
DELIVERABLES:
o A full-fledged report: having detailed discussion on the selected tools (soft
copy through blackboard).
REPORT FORMAT AND CONTENT:
1. Introduction: A complete introduction about assignment topic (1 page, Marks:
1)
2. Development Tools: Selected tools and their brief introduction, mentioning their
features (1 paragraph for each, Marks: 1)
3. Comparison: Write advantages and disadvantages (at least three) of each tool
(Marks: 2)
4. Best tool selected: Selection of best tool with reasons. (Marks: 1)
5. Conclusion: Conclude your assignment by giving overall insight obtained from
the study. (1-2 paragraphs, Marks: 0.5)
6. References and in text Citation: Write your reference and give in text citation
using APA Style (6th Edition). (Marks: 1)
7. Format: Use professional format for writing your report. (Marks: 0.5)

TEAM SIZE:
Each team or group should consist of 5-6 students including the team leader.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. All groups need to be registered through blackboard.
2. All your submissions must include your academic information (Name, ID, Group Number
and Team Name).
3. Each member of the team must participate equally in the assignment. Otherwise, if a
student didn’t participate well in its team’s project marks will be deducted according to
the inactive student’s participation.
4. The team leader is responsible fully of dividing the work equally between members and
reporting any inactive student.
5. In case of continuous low performance of certain inactive students in their groups, those
students will be separated into new groups to finish the rest of their assignment by their
own.
6. Your work should present the effort of 5-6 students.
7. No Plagiarism is allowed. Plagiarism will give you straight zero. So please
provide the clear reference of your work.
8. Late submissions will not be accepted.
