Preparing Memorandum
Select a legitimate recent Business news source’s story, then prepare a memorandum to your existing or hypothetical boss and/or co-worker(s) to inform them about it.

Complete the following steps to prepare your memorandum:

Select news story. Sources of English-language Business news include, but are not limited to BBC, Bloomberg, CNBC, CNN, Financial Times, Fox Business, Hindustan Times, NBC News, Reuters, Straits Times, The Wall Street Journal, and the Washington Post.
Write the memorandum from the perspective that your company is a stakeholder but not the direct subject of the news story.
Make brief reference to the news story and emphasize how the recent development or new information expressed in the story might affect the business for which you actually or hypothetically work. Do not summarize the entire news story.
Include link to the news story in your memorandum.
