F- Lesson Plan

Instructions are as followed:

“This lesson plan assignment was designed to help you design a detailed lesson plan using the McGill University lesson plan template. It will help you to explore the different components of the lesson plan. It will encourage you to critically think about the process of lesson planning.

For this assignment, you will:

Create a detailed lesson plan using the McGill University lesson plan template available on MyCourses.
You must plan a 60-minute lesson that includes an introduction, a warm-up, two main activities, and a cooldown.
You must plan for a grade 4 class of 25 students.
Your lesson must target competency 2 (to interact with others in different physical activity settings)
You will select the focus of your lesson from progressions of learning document first, then choose your activities and games based on your selections.
All sections of the McGill lesson plan template must be completed. For instance, include appropriate task progressions (at least three per main activity), teaching cues, and quality diagrams when planning your lesson. Include all the equipment you will need and the quantity of equipment.
Use the space provided in the “post-lesson comments” section of your lesson plan to answer the following question in full sentences (no point form):
After teaching a lesson, why is it essential to reflect on your lesson?

This assignment will be evaluated based on the content, the quality of the writing, and the professionalism of its formatting. Grammatical errors should be kept to a minimum.

You do not have to follow APA standards for this assignment. However, please number all pages in the top right-hand corner of each page. Also, a cover page is necessary for this assignment.”
