The debate over energy resources has been a primary topic of debate in recent years, even more so with the increases in gas prices. These debates continue over the concerns of how the country can and must find alternate sources of energy, eliminating its dependency on fossil fuels to better protect the environment.

Choose any ONE — ONLY ONE —  possible energy alternative (other than solar! No solar!) that you believe would help in the protection of the environment.

Because this assignment is relatively short, make sure your argument focuses on and addresses only one aspect (one advantage) of your proposed alternative energy.

Argue in defense of your choice, and be sure to include one source of opposition.

The use of contractions and/or any forms of “I” or “you” will result in a penalty of -1 point for each occurrence.
