Your task for this assignment consists in offering an overview of a traditional media organization (NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, AL Jazeera, Fox, Netflix, etc.), a local TV channel, a broadcast/online radio station, or a social media entity (Facebook, WhatsApp, WeChat, Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.). Your presentation will describe the history of the media organization, its evolution and achievements, the presence of the media organization at the national and international levels, its online presence, its most popular shows or features, its ownership and business model, as well as the difficulties and challenges facing the media organization today. In your presentation, also consider the competitors of media organization, the proportion of local, regional, national, and international news on the media outlets, the political leaning as well as the perceived credibility of the organization. On your assigned presentation day:
1. Prepare a PowerPoint and lead a brief discussion about the media organization (approximately 8 to 10 minutes)
2. Prepare a typed analysis (1- 2 page, double-spaced). Bring your analysis to class and email it at the end of your presentation (put your name in the subject line of your email message).
