On a fairly regular basis, groups of historians, political scientists, journalists, etc. will release a list ranking
presidents on how great or successful they were. For this discussion look at the rankings at the following

These rankings give a number of criteria that presidents are “graded” on. Choose the two criteria that you
believe are the most important for a president to do well on. Why do you think those are the most
important? Choose one of the criteria that you feel is the least important. Why do you feel that is less
important than the others?
