Hello Classmates and Professor,
Congratulations to everyone for making it to the end. I know personally that tis was a challenging semester for me but I didn’t give up. The most suprising
esson for me was understanding that no matte what safety measures are put into place hackers are still going to find a way to obtain patients health
information. I have always felt that most hackers are former employees with a personal vendetta. Although there are more safeguards being put into place
daily can you really trust the person designing the system. I am just naturally a person who is suspicous of everything and everyone. I change the password
to my devices monthly for that reason.In health care settings, nurses encounter many human-technology interfaces such as utilizing defibrillators,
intravenous pumps, patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) pumps, electronic thermometers and cardiac monitors. All these technologies are necessary to
provide patients with high quality of care. Future technological innovation is going to keep transforming healthcare, yet while technologies like new drugs and
treatments, new devices, new social media support for healthcare will drive innovation, human factors will remain one of the stable limitations of
breakthroughs. I believe that new pharamaceuticals will take a major transformation through scientifc research developed through technologies and drug
treatment programs. The ability to replicate a formula to solve cancer is coming sooner than we think.
