For the purposes of this essay a physical environment may be considered a place where people live, work or engage in recreation (play). How to complete the assessment In your short essay you will need to describe, with supporting evidence from the literature, how the physical environment you have chosen impacts the health and wellbeing of a population. Impact on sub-populations or individuals within a population may also be considered where appropriate. It will be necessary to link the determinants of health you have learnt about in the course. It should also be clear whether the impact/s on health discussed are adverse (harmful) or beneficial, with sound reasoning provided. What impact does this physical environment have on the health and wellbeing of the population? Relate your discussion to the determinants of health. The arguments presented must‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍ be relevant, concise, and supported by evidence. You may choose to detail a maximum of two aspects of the same physical environment, however the link between the two need to be well argued and supported within your description.
