Capstone Paper
As is customary in most graduate-level courses, your final/capstone paper is expected to be an original piece of composition that is your own creative
intellectual effort reflecting what you have learned during the course. This will be the capstone of your work in this course. You will be writing on two topics
from the course and describing developments in those areas over the past 2 or 3 years. You will want to keep alert to topics that you might want to explore
deeper and update. The limit in length we place on this is 3000 words, including references. We encourage you to be thinking about the focus of your
capstone paper from the beginning of the course. (Tip: Every unit of the course can be relevant to the question asked in this paper.)
It would be a productive idea to create a separate file, blog, or mind map in which you can begin making notes or drafting ideas to be used in the creation of
your capstone paper. Provide evidence of your grasping the concepts of distance education and your ability to locate and evaluate information related to two
topics of interest.
