Below, you will see two tables with 9 of the articles you explored in the Article Databases Worksheet (3 from each topic).

First, you will be exploring the two citation databases to find out some details about how many times each article has been cited and also how many of its references are in the database.  You will do this in TWO separate charts.

In order to do so, search the article title (highlighted in green) in each database – remember to use the appropriate search field to search for article title in each database. In other words, use the appropriate title search option!

Important Notes:

Times cited is how many times it has been cited by other items.  The answer options are in a range as this can change.  If you believe the times cited has gone beyond the range scored as correct, contact me.
Number of references is how many items from that article’s reference list (bibliography) are listed in that database.
If a database does not have the article in it, answer NA for that database.  This is definitely not a common occurrence, so check carefully.
Some articles have notes under them as to difficulties with searching them.
Think about the number of items you’re finding.  This means from one article, you could potentially be finding dozens or more additional items by examining the items it cited and the items citing it.
It may help to resize your browser screen since this table is a bit wide.
