Much about the laws and policies (or lack thereof) in the area of cyber aviation has been covered in this
course. Reflect back to your level of understanding and beliefs as you began the course and weigh how
much you have learned over the module. There is much to be learned in how the law relates to business
cyber policies forming the foundation of the critical infrastructure of aviation. Security is a journey rather
than a destination.

The law itself in any given arena is both broad and deep, certainly more than an overview class such as
this can examine. Still, consider the following questions:
Did you gain a better understanding of how interrelated cyber law and cyber policy are with business
practices?
What about your view of cyber law and its development has changed?
If you have a particular area of interest, what cyber laws and/or policies, would you like to see implemented
in the future? Why?
If you don’t have a particular area of interest, choose an area of the law we covered and appraise what you
believe the development of the law and policy affecting it will be in the coming years. What is (or could) the
government do to help the airlines succeed in the endeavor to secure this critical infrastructure?
