An e-retail store has asked you to develop an order and inventory management system. Customers can
place order directly using this system over the web. They can also use the system to cancel an order that
was placed earlier or to check order status. The store also sends out catalogs to potential customers.
These catalogs feature combinations of different items in the store’s inventory. Each such combination –
called as a product item – may be featured in different catalogs with different prices. Customers can identify
product items that they would like to order using the catalog IDs and product item IDs (when they call the
customer service representation over phone or when they place order over the internet). Orders can be
shipped by different shipping companies depending on the options chosen by the customer. The system
will also be used to process payments. The store takes credit card and check payments.
