Topic: COVID19 hurts business in Hanes Mall

Idea: My idea for this project will be about COVID impacting businesses in Hanes Mall, Winston-Salem, NC. The tone and style I am going for are somewhat disheartening, pitiful, and sympathetic (music). First COVID19 (we can get from online video) and then video inside the mall and outside the mall.

Project instruction from the teacher
The goal of this project is for you to create a TV Show Intro using photos, videos, and other devices (text, music, etc.). The runtime should be between 30-60 seconds.
You are free to borrow any and all clichés or tropes from existing TV show intros, but you should use your own visuals and should create your own style/feel/messaging with the use of other elements, such as text or photos. Most of the visuals you use will probably be photos/videos you already have on your phones or computers. Imagine casting your friends into different roles of your fictitious shows. The sooner you can decide the tone/style/era of the show, the stronger your project will be.
In addition to using your own visuals, you are permitted to use visuals that you find online (YouTube, Archive.org, Pond5, etc.). We will talk more about this in our second synchronous session.
You should try to be as creative as possible and have fun with this assignment.

Tech Specs
• You will be uploading an exported file (MOV/MP4) to a file-sharing site
• In addition to your final video, please submit a short write-up (1 page, double-spaced) explaining your motivation/inspiration, the era you’d imagine your show airing, and any other helpful information.
• You will need to export/upload your video as an MOV, MP4, etc.
• If you do choose to use footage from YouTube, Archive.org, etc., please ensure that you’re giving the footage a new style/tone/treatment. You shouldn’t use more than 5 or so seconds from any online clip unless you’ve asked me about it first (you can, however, use longer clips if they’re YOUR footage).
