Construction industry is a uniquely dynamic industry that requires meticulous planning to successfully
execute projects. The industry, however, has been slow to adopt new management, business, training,
organizational, and technological interventions that have been proven to be effective in other analogous
industries. Consider this as an opportunity to take an empirically validated intervention from academic
literature to improve construction planning and execution process. This includes all or any tasks starting
with planning phase in corporate offices to execution of work on jobsites. A robust premise must be created
before making a significant investment towards an intervention to improve a component of the planning
process.
For this paper, present an argument from a business, organization, performance and human resources point
of view on a change you would suggest for improving processes within the industry. Your argument should
include but must not be limited to: a comprehensive overview of gap you would like to address within the
industry, proposed intervention from literature, how the intervention would be applied, review of potential
gains and risks, and conclusions.

1. Your paper must be detailed but no more than 5 pages. This does not include the reference page.
2. Single spaced.
3. 11-point font and Arial font.
4. APA citations are must. References must be listed on the last page.
5. This is a report that you will leave on the desk of your very busy and immediate supervisors. They
do not have time to read a 5-page dense report. Be creative in your presentation to really sell your
idea without compromising professionalism. You’re welcome to use online samples as inspirations
but do copy a template.
