Module 5—Community Health and Patient Engagement
The super-user committee wants to educate the public on the importance of being active consumers of healthcare information. Create an infographic, a presentation, a set of three social media postings (using MS Word to create a mock-up of the postings) that could be used by a healthcare organization to promote the use of a patient portal.
In creating your educational communication, consider what patients need to know about the importance of accessing their information and how being actively engaged impacts their health.
When you submit your educational communication, include a 2 to 3 pages reflection on why you chose the approach you did, why you included the information you selected, and the role of an informatics nurse in promoting the use of patient portals. Use APA Style to format your reflection paper
