plan to communicate your problem/solution. your audience is your peers. Your goal is to figure out the best model to communicate your ideas to your specific audience.

After you say what genre you will create your project in, consider what some of the expectations viewers of this genre have for it. For example, what does someone who is listening to a podcast, or watching a photo exhibit, or a film, or a zine expect to see, hear, feel, etc. Write all this down.

Then tell me WHY your chosen genre is the more effective choice to communicate your ideas to your specific audience.
