Analyze the particular provision’s purpose, and to whom or what it provides authority.
Evaluate what authority(ies) it provides and assess if such authorities appear adequate, excessive, or are unclear, to achieve their apparent purpose.
Craft a memorandum (draft in a proper memo format in a Word document and post it as an attachment) to your executive (at his/her request) that fully
evaluates the authority. The memo should provide insights and commentary on the realities of that authority in the employee’s direct, and/or, whole
organization’s daily operations:
What is the scope of the authority?
What are its limitations?
What are the suggested reforms, if any?
