For this submission, you need to prepare a draft of four sections of your paper, so you can get feedback before the final paper so you can incorporate that
feedback into a more successful paper. You need to bold the title of each section. Remember every milestone is required to be completed by due date. There
is no missing a milestone to receive any grade in the end for the final project.
This requires you to complete the following draft sections:
Introduction: Explain in 2-3 paragraphs (1/2 page estimated, but not longer than 1 page) explaining the study, introducing the study to the reader about what
it is about and why. Make sure this remains in alignment with your survey instrument.
Problem Statement, Research Questions, and Objectives: Clearly state the problem statement in research terms. (Refer to Chapter 3, review Box 3.6—
Business Problem Translated into Problem Statement.) Then create the Research Question(s), and the objectives to be obtained by doing this research.
These questions are NOT the questions in your instrument. These are broader. Look carefully at your text book and set-up a table like what is depicted in your
text book in Chapter 3. You will be graded on the quality and clarity of this section as well as the alignment to what your instrument actually asks the
participant. (1/2 page estimated, but this is probably the most difficult half page you will write. To do this correctly it will take a great deal of time to word
smith this section properly.)
Methodology: This will explain to the reader of the report all of the specifics….Type of study, sample size, method of data collection, etc. (Refer to your
textbook for more details). Basically you are telling the reader how you propose to conduct the research, using your designed instrument, to obtain the
information needed to address the problem identified above and to achieve the objectives determined. This section is harder to write than you might think on
the “surface” as you will have to fully support in research terms the type of study, where you are going to administer the survey (location, time, etc.), how you
are going to administer it, the sample size needed to gain at least a 95% confidence level, etc. To learn more about sample size in addition to your text, check

(1/2 page estimated, but not longer than 1 page)
Limitations: Explain to the reader of the report what are limitations of study, such as this being a convenience survey in data collection methods by emailing
friends and family to participate, being an undergraduate term project, sample size being small, etc….using all proper business formal terminology. (1/2 page
estimated)
