Paper details
identify a problem in our market system, where allocative and investment efficiency is not maximized. As
shown in class and with various other examples in the book, the number of opportunities for improvement
are endless. You can write about any topic, but you show how your identified example is a problem. You
will provide the following:
1. Individual paper – no more than 1,000 words. NOTE: this is not many words, so you will be challenged to
write well and to be succinct, yet provide me enough to understand what the problem is and the solution.
2. The papers must be fully justified. This means each paragraph must be formatted where the right end of
a paragraph and left side of a paragraph are square. This entire page is fully justified, if that helps you. The
document must be completed in MSWord, and submitted in MSWord. At the bottom center of each page,
you must have a page number. All papers are to use Times New Roman, 11point font.
3. You must cite your materials using the Harvard Referencing Style.
https://www.mendeley.com/guides/harvard-citation-guide.
4. You must provide atleast 15 high quality sources to support your argument. These sources can be used
to highlight the problem, or to help you support a solution.
5. All papers and presentations will be due on December 8, just before the beginning of your section. If you
are in section 4, your due date will be December 15, just prior to 6pm. All presentations are to be
completed and uploaded in Powerpoint. There are to be no flying wingdings, or animations in your
presentation.
6. All files will be uploaded to Canvas.
