4.) Include one of these essays about Latin American art:
-Andrea Giunta, “Strategies of Modernity in Latin America”`
B) For each of the five essays you selected:
1) Identify the author’s full name, full title, including subtitle, and date.
2) Describe the subject and content of the essay. What is it ABOUT?
3) Fully identify two artworks featured in the essay (full name and nationality of the artist, title, date, and medium).
4) Briefly explain the author’s overall argument (THESIS) in your own words. NOTE: Do NOT copy the thesis paraphrase from your Reading Response Paper
even if it was correct. The goal for the final is to see how well you can explain it now, looking back, using your normal vocabulary.
C) Compare and contrast the five authors’ arguments (theses). What do the author’s perspectives on Modern art have in common, and how are they
different?
