In the play Crucible you need to identify one of John Proctors foils in an explanatory essay. You need to describe how the author, Miller uses this foil to reveal
elements of John Proctor’s Character and support a major theme in the Crucible. In the intro paragraph it needs to include a theme and (what ever else I put
in the instructions) in paragraph 1 it needs to include one of John Proctors main characteristics, and how the foil you chose highlights this characteristic for
John. In paragraph 2 it needs to include another different characteristic of John and how this characteristic highlights the foil (the person you chose)
paragraphs 1 and 2 the characteristics need to be 2 different things for example honesty and sins. paragraph 3 needs to include how the two characters fit
the theme and needs to examine the theme. Include quotes and evidence with page numbers from the book.
