1. Genetically engineered crops (GECs) are steadily dominating our agricultural system. What are the issues? In particular, examine the potential for genetically engineered corn–called Bt corn–to damage the ecology of streams draining Bt corn fields and the genetic contamination of neighboring fields not using GECs. “GMOs” Consider the significance of the event/problem.
