Much is learned about a society by reading its literature.
Using the Epic of Gilgamesh as your source, write an essay in which you identify and explain three beliefs
and/or values of ancient Sumerian society. Develop specifically and cite Gilgamesh.
Note: Citations to the text are needed. Quotes are not needed, but two short quotes (three lines or less) are
permitted. Most, if not all, of the citations, will be given in your own words.
Everybody paragraph must contain citations. Citations for Gilgamesh, will be to page numbers; just the
page, no name needed.
