Write a 400—500-word response to two of the O’Connor short stories we have read so far: Tell us how one moment in story A reminded you of another in B. How does one point in A shed new light on B? How does one character’s behavior, speech, thought in A help us understand the motivation of a character in B? This list does not exhaust all the possibilities. Organization is not a major consideration when I grade a response paper. Let your ideas develop and wander; only show insight and close familiarity with the texts.
