1. Develop a site taxonomy

a. Using your context as a guide develop a top level list of at least 5 categories

i. Develop a second level of topics for one top level topic [at least 5 subcategories]

b. Develop a list of tags appropriate to your context (these don’t need to be created yet,

about 5).

2. Create ALL categories and subcategories on your site. You should try to create at least 10

categories/sub-categories on your site.

3. DO NOT change the name of the Uncategorized category. There are several plugins that require

this category.

4. Post a document to D2L with your taxonomy in it

If my site is about travel to Israel for Pilgrims, I might have categories such as:

Lodging in Haifa (top level category)

Hotels on top (sub-category)

Hotels at bottom

Currency (top level category)
