• This assignment is due Thursday, December 3rd at midnight (Tuesday class, section A) or Friday, December 4th at midnight (Wednesday class, Section B). The assignment should be submitted electronically on the blackboard site.

The assignment goal is to develop a teaching program for the scenario below.
Danielle is a 15-year-old girl with cerebral palsy and a mild intellectual delay. She has limited use of her legs and thus uses a wheelchair, but her upper body mobility is fine. Her speech is indistinct but not significantly delayed. She attends a special education class in her local high school.
• Choose 1 skill to teach Danielle that has social validity. (1 mark)

• Perform a task analysis of the skill. (1 mark)

• Design the teaching program by completing the 4 questions below a – d. (7 marks)

• Identify which prompts you will use and how will you use them. (2 marks)
• Describe how you will fade the prompts, i.e. transfer the stimulus control. (1 mark)
• Identify what type of chaining you will use and how will you use it. (2 marks)
• Choose 1 behavioural skills training procedure and describe how you will use it. (2 marks)

• Identify and label the reinforcement you are going to use. (1 mark)
