Homework Assignment

Tonight’s homework is to conduct independent research on the American Revolution, which we will begin to study during tomorrow’s class period. To complete your homework, please do the following:
1. Read the Wikipedia entry titled, “American Revolutionary War,” which can be accessed here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Revolutionary_War.
2. Generate two questions related to the American Revolutionary War that you are curious about after completing the reading.
3. Use technology or books to search for answers to those two questions, and then read and provide citations for the sources where you found the answers to your questions.
4. Be prepared to share your questions and the answers you found with your classmates.
5. Be ready to discuss the following in a small group:
• Based on your reading, why do you think colonists were opposed to the Stamp Act, and how did these feelings impact the war to come?
