election. Choose any three distinct sociodemographic groups (e.g., according to gender, race/ethnicity, religion, region, etc.) and explain why they turned out
and voted in the way that they did. Also address how these patterns differed from those in prior elections, especially the 2016 presidential election.
Note that this assignment asks you to focus on both turnout and on partisan preference. Turnout refers to the percentage of eligible voters within a particular
group that actually cast a ballot in 2020. Partisan preference refers to what percentage of the group supported Republican or Democratic candidates (or,
more unusually, those from a minor party such as the Green or Libertarian Party).
